When being interviewed for a specific grade, who should I expect to be at the interview besides the principal. I know people have had different experiences and I would love to hear some of them.

You can expect to see the administrative team (principal and/or vice principal) and the grade level team on the interview panel. For instance, if you are interviewing for a 4th grade position, the other 4th grade teachers may sit in on the interview and even participate in the asking of questions. I have a friend who was interviewed by the entire grade team at her school and they all helped decide whether or not she was hired.

I'm currently an intern working with a cooperating teacher and they just recently got assigned their grades for next school year and were also discussing grades they have taught. I believe they mentioned, in their cases, the principle and one or two administrative staff members.
