I have a strict no-technology during instruction policy. Two students are taking notes on I-Pads and clearly are using them for more than just note-taking. Am I being too strict? If not, how should I approach this situation?
I agree that movement of their desks would be very helpful in keeping an eye on how they use their devices. If they have a special reason as to why they need to use the I-Pad for note taking, they should make the I-Pad a educational device only with no apps that will be tempting distractions during class.
I liked the restriction of parent limits and app restrictions.
I think that some kids need technology to help the be engaged in a topic.
I think this is great, technology can be used for good in the classroom.
Yes having a great sense of trust, could definitely help in the issue.
