Interview Advice

When interviewing, what advice would you offer to a new teacher who has never taught before?

Solution #1
My biggest interview advice is to be yourself when answering questions, but to also make sure to ask questions. You want to know what you're getting into, and you want to see if you will fit in at a school, before you're stuck there all year. Good luck!
Solution #2
Since you do not have a background to help them see your potential it is important that you make a good impression. Dress professionally and be prepared for any questions they may ask you. Make sure you make it clear how important education is to you, use professional language, and be honest.
Solution #3
Use words of affirmation the day of the interview. My mom always told me "thoughts are things". Make sure you start your day with a strong breakfast and be confident. You will do great!
Solution #4
As a prospective teacher who has never taught before, I'd give myself the advice of being myself while also trying to learn from more experienced teachers.
