Case
How have you worked with students who perform below grade level?

During the interview process for a teaching position, candidates often encounter this question. As a prospective teacher, how would you prepare a comprehensive and compelling answer and respond to this question using a thoughtful and strategic approach?

Solution #1
I think I would suggest that the student be given extra instruction, such as during small group time, with material that interests them and that they would feel personally motivated to complete (for example, a student who likes cars being given an assignment to write about their favorite kind of car).
