Distractions

I have one student who has to sit by himself because he creates distractions for other students. In whole group instruction, he gets off task so much that he gets sent back to his seat almost every time. Is there anything that we can do to stop this behavior?

create a behavior plan and ask him why he doess what he does and the behavior plan will make him get rewards for good behavior

Giving other students rewards for good behavior but not directly putting down bad behavior may work. Scolding and punishment will make your students feel bad and continue the behavior, but if you give them a positive motive, they may change.
