I recently was a teacher's aid in a 1st grade classroom with a student who had a hard time controlling his impulses and disruptive behaviors-- constantly calling out, during group times and testing. We tried rewards, brain breaks, and positive parent contact. We tried punishments such as sitting at his own table away from others and losing recess time when applicable. What else could we do to manage this behavior?

Maybe try having a parent teacher conference. There is no harm in getting their parents involved maybe they can help and be of assistance.
