A student who is diagnosed as ADHD continually disrupts class. This student throws things and throws tantrums. After this child makes a scene they run up to the teachers and professes how much they love the teacher. How should the teacher address this problem which happens on a consistent basis?
This is a great suggestion, the student needs to learn what is right and wrong and know that the teacher still cares for them.
It is hard, but you need to be firm.
This is a good suggestion, I agree.
I agree with you, allowing the student to behave this way is poor classroom management. It is not fair to your other students and you need to let the student know that there behavior is not okay.
I would try to have a schedule up for the students daily and what they are doing at one time. Sometimes that will ease the students minds.
