One little girl in my class suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome. She is constantly being bullied because she looks and acts different from the other kids. What are some ways to help the other students understand, yes, she might be different, but thats no reason to bully her?
I like this idea. It doesn't single out one student, but rather opens the kids' eyes to the fact that everyone is different.
I enjoyed this solution. I feel that it would help everyone become aware.
This is a good suggestion because it makes all kids aware.
Great suggestion. All students should be aware of how their words can effect others.
The earlier students learn to accept everyone the better.
yes! This is a great idea!
I agree bullying should be taken seriously, but I would first raise awareness, then go this if needed.
This is a good suggestion because I agree that the bullying should be reported and taken very seriously.
Yes I agree as well. We should let bullying slide through. It needs to be handled the right way.
I really like this idea, although I wouldn't personally focus on it for an entire week. However, I could definitely see how this could be sprinkled throughout the curriculum to ensure that the students really listen to the message you're trying to send out.
Great idea.
I would have a lesson with the students on the importance of treating others the same as you want to be treated.
Yes, having a full lesson on it would be very helpful.
