Writing Assignments

When giving the students a writing assignment, I think the best way to ensure their success is to give them a rubric to follow. Give the students time in class to brainstorm and draft, but have the students revise and redraft on their own time. Having the students have a rubric to follow will ensure they understand what is expected of them.
